This plier was designed to remove ceramic brackets easily without the risk of shattering. The beaks are specifically engineered to apply even pressure on the bracket causing it to collapse. Could be used for SS brackets 1- Remove arch wire. 2- Place the plier flush on the bracket mesio-distally. Do not use it occluso-gingivally as the wings will break. 3- Gently squeeze the bracket to collapse. 4- Do not apply too much pressure as the bracket may fracture.
Narrow tips wedge between the bracket base and the tooth surface to lift the bracket with no stress. May be used mesio-distally or occluso-gingivally.
Wide tips wedge between the bracket base and the tooth surface to lift the bracket with no stress. May be used mesio-distally or occluso-gingivally.
